Hi

I have finally finished the latest incarnation of my 12AX7 RIAA preamp (wooden box near the Thorens).

Here you are two complementary pictures of my system.

Enjoy!

Default Exterior design gone horribly wrong...

The overall look did not really turn out like I expected, but it sounds fine.

6BG6-GA single ended, UL & triode, 6SN7 driver/LED bias, dual rectifiers.

Swap the knob for a chrome finish to match the capacitors and swap the protection around the switch to match the handles and it will look great.

That's a very good idea to fine tune the looks!

Default RH Universal

Pictures of my new build, the 'RH Universal'. Schematic by Aleksandar Kitic.
It's a single ended design allowing the use of various output tubes, but one could say it works best with the KT88.
More info on this amp is to be found at the forums of diytube and audiokarma.
By the way, it's sounds really great!
