This Amp was made by my friend Frank and me.
The plate voltage is around 1100 V.
Output is 15 Watts RMS.
I personal like the cabinet style.
They look really nice, might try a housing like that the next time.
what diagram did you use?

Hands down the coolest build I've seen around here in a long time ... if not ever. I wish I'd thought of doing that.

Default Pearl White 211

Hello head1962,

the basic schematics for the pearl white 211, was from a Japanese magazine.

I guess MJ.

The gain in the driver stage is too high, this was adjusted.

Also the power supply is changed, higher voltage for 211.

Use original 6SN7 tubes - the remake tubes sounds not so nice.

Here the original schematic:

Thanks! dsavitsk!
It is definitely the easiest way to build a box. Doesn't get messy or nothing. And you need to know someone with a laser, if not you prabably go bankrupt :-((
No heat build up either which should be good for something..

here's 2 other amps, more orthodox, say

Nice to see an 211-amp that doesn't occupy a closet and need a forklift to be moved around. Really nice.

I saw a lot of other nice builds too - like it when the builder aims at a small smize.

I have been busy with other stuff for tha last year, yesterday i stumbled upon two 8k PP xformers in a box, i digged out two pairs of matched 6P14P and two 6N1P and fired up the soldering iron, sounds beautiful although still a prototype.
