The tubes I used are KT88 and a russian one 5C8S 5C8S | Tubes Information The case is built of a veneered MDF. Water slide decal paper helped to make a label.
Based on this (shishido - attached) with some variations
The OPTs with one word are fabulous. Especially in low frequencies I have no words to say!

Tribute Audio probabily second and Tamura/Tango/Lundahl/Bartolucci/Hashimoto/Sowter in this order came up.....

Meanwhile i'we been busy with horns.
I need to build a few more parts for the amps, like transformer covers and spikes. A few more 100$.
For the speakers...i still need a ton of money and some patients.
Meanwhile i will enjoy the dynamics of this ogly prototype, thinking about how good my future speakers will sound with SET amps.

Hi Felixx, have you made any comparison of the OPTs? I am interested as I am looking for OPT for my new build SE power amp
Well,a fair example was between Tribute and Monolith into an Audio Note SE amplifier.Both have very good C cores,thin laminations (0,1mm thick) but the quality of the wire and type of windings (geometry) is superior on Monolith.
Sonic diferences is slight better on bottom end and even on high registers.

my 6LU8 pp amp after modifications to have 3 input selector switch....bottom covers and tube protectors....
You can give protection against pets kids and reciprocally against valves, and you can see the night's glow in the darkness. Good for meditation.
