This is my EL34 PP

I'm about to construct a pair of 833a monoblocks, attached is a picture of a close resemblence of what they will look like.
The picture is a 300b parallel feed design i was going to build until i got my hands on sone 833a tubes.
Thee 833a version has less tubes and the 833a tube is situated in the front cylinder behind a glass panel.

Girly power amp
Don't suppose many women post on here so this is my experimental power amp, almost in its final incarnation? Currently in a classic configuration of cascode I/P, LTP phase splitter and ultra-linear EL34 O/P giving about 30W per channel. I have yet to tidy up the wiring.
I'm currently building a phono pre-amp to accompany it.

.... and why in carnation would you wonder about the brighter sex? Or are you of that gender despite the pseudenom?
I particularly noticed the potted Parmeko choke - just looked at and old (40+) little amp of mine where I used a similar choke; did not know they were still available (unless a similarly looking different make). And your transformers are from?

The transformers are from Sowter, not cheap but they perform well and are very well made. I'd rather spend extra on good quality transformers than esoteric components. The choke is re-claimed from another project and before that, it was in some military electronic equipment; again nice quality and 5H 350mA. The PSU is C-L-C with soft start, that is the caps charge through a resistor which is shorted out after 25 secs by a relay.
I'm very pleased with this power amp, neutral sound and good detailed soundstage. I'll put up a circuit diagram when I gather all the bits of paper together.

In his day he had to attend quite a few 'socials' - and hated all of them. Said about one particular such, as GBS entered the 'presence', cigar steaming as usual. Up sidled a bedraped full-figured female socialite, reeking of scent:
"Sir! You SMELL!"
GBS: "Correction Madame! YOU smell; I stink!"

Surplus PCL82 PP Stereo
I finished building a PCL82 Push Pull stereo amp using the schematic from post 713745. The only difference is that I had to change the cathode resistors as the one on the schematic was exceeding the plate dissipation of the tube. I ended up putting a 1K ohm resistor, drawing an quiescent current of 25ma. Since the tubes were surplus and unmatched, one of the tubes had a combination of a 560ohm and a 1K 15 turn trimmer from Radioshack. This way I was able to match the currents. Other than that the amp is very silent and sounds very nice. Need to build some high sensitivity speakers next.
The amp is build will almost all surplus parts.
output transformers are 7010 line matching transformers, 8K to 8 ohms.
Power transformer is a triad 35va isolation transformer with a voltage double power supply.
The heater is a 16v @ 1.6amps.
The case is a LACIE usb drive case.
