Exclamation Home Made Tubes?? has anyone made one, is it possible??

Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had tried building a Home Made Tube to see if it could be done.
It doesn't matter how well it worked, just that it did work is what interests me.
What would you need ( Materials) to make it possible.
Is it possible??
