Anyone tried the remake of Tung Sol 6550 ?

Are they any good?

Haven't tried them, but Lee's Electronics in Vancouver sells amps with them and those type as replacements and I have read no bad reviews so far.

I bought a pair, but haven't built an amp for them yet. The build quality is very high.

I've been using them for about eight months. They sound fantastic and have been reliable. After the first couple of days, I haven't needed to re-adjust the bias voltage.

I purchased mine from www.dougstubes.com.
