Default Transfos Anyone?

I finished a little 50EH5 amp for my computer system (thanks Dad's projects for the design idea) but really need a pair of OTs to replace the temporary "ripped from an Akai" pair I have in for testing.

Anyone got a pair of about 7K prim. to 8 or 4 ohm with a very small footprint (we're talking less than a watt here) in the junkbox they'd be interested in selling me?

Thanks.

Well, they are 5K, not 7K but Uncle Ned at Triode Electronics has a really nice little SE OPT for five watts, 40mA. It is a 'guitar' OPT with limited bass (50Hz) but at 1 watt you won't have much bass anyway.

They are very small and very inexpensive at $15 each. Response it 50-20K Hz within 3dB. Pick up a 325-0-325 5V, 6.3V PTX for $39 and a 4H 90mA choke for $10 and you have the iron for a nice little spud amp! I doubt the difference between 5K and 7K would matter much.

Thanks - I went to Triode, which one were you referring too? 5K is fine.

Transformer is rated 100 Hz to 20 KHz -2 dB at 5 watts with 40 ma (maximum recommended) primary current.
