help building 12ax7/el84 amp

my goal is to build a guitar amp, a Class-A, single ended, ~5w-7w amp with 12ax7 (2 of them?) in the pre-amp and 1 EL84 for the power.

i chose classA single ended because i believe this is the simplest? correct me if im wrong.

im a newbie and have been searching this forum but i cant seem to find what im looking for. do you guys know links that i can go regarding this project? or maybe you can help me directly through this thread
