I just received a remote volume control kit with switchable inputs from DIY Club (MV-01). However there are no instructions or even a schematic for it.
Some of the connections are easy, even for me such as things labeled 12V, 5V or Gnd. I'm assuming the 'a b c' connector is for the IR receiver but which pin is which? The input switching relay board has a 6 pin connector that looks the same as one on the volume control board so it would be a decent guess they get hooked together- but... pin 1 to pin 1 or reversed? It appears the inputs should be soldered to the through-hole pads but maybe they go the the 7 pin connector? As you can see I'm confused! If anyone here has ever used one of these I'd appreciate any help!

You can contact them and they will send you the details of connections with a writeup. Let me know if you are unable to get it from them, and I will email you.
thanks, Dinesh |

Thanks! I emailed them earlier this morning so I'll give Johnny a couple days then come back if I don't hear from them.
