Sorry for the easy question but in my woods class I decided to build a guitar cabinet. All I have now is a solid state combo but i want to uprgade to something better. I know that tube amps have pre amp tubes and power tubes, but are they both included in the head I would buy, or will i have to put them in the cab. All I want to make a decent one compatible with a nice tube head, so I know i want 4X12 8 ohms speakers but thats all I really know...
thanks |

Don't worry about asking questions!
The head will have all the tubes in it. It will be a complete amplifier including preamp and power amp (unless of course you purchase just a preamp or power amp but in those cases it will be labeled as such).
