Actually not, I think. Because, for 0% UL (aka true pentode/tetrode mode), that would give a gain zero with your modifyed formula.

Sorry, I have no better idea, though.

Won't it be more dependent on what Tektronix used to call the "internal" mu from g2 to a? After all, that's the gain around which the feedback loop is being applied...
