Hi there. I have a 3886 GC amplifier. But, i think my amp still need a preamp to provide line level gain (maybe about 2.5x)
When i run my LM3886 amp, i try to combine this amp with two my friend's preamp (bipolar transistor and valve).
Then, i got some result. The preamp with bipolar transistor has an give an effect to my 3886 become live, and a little rough. But when i try to combine my amp with tube preamp ;) , of course my 3886 amp become smooth, natural with a deep.
So, i decide to build a tube preamp.
But, i still newbie in tube, and i want to build that tube preamp. Can anyone help me???
I prefer to build a simple preamp with a simple design, less component but have a high quality.
What tube should i use??12AU7??5687??12AX7??
Do i need to add a choke in psu design??or just use CRC filter???
Is it good to use 1 tube twin trioda in 2 channel??
I need ur help please :bawling:
Thx
