1- I am looking for schematics (that are working?) for a pwr amp with 845 in push pull config. 100w out mostly in class A. 2- who knows what are the technical differences between the p.p. and s.e. at such high power? who can drive difficult and variable loads like Acustat spk? regards williams

I have designed and built a few 845 PP amps.....
Have you thought of the 211??? When you say "mostly" Class A...You mean Class A for about most of the drive???? Before breaking into cut-off??? Pure push-pull Class A ...2 tubes??? You won't get 100 Watts.... Unless you go PP Class A2...now you would need one hell of an AMPLIFIER to drive that AMP ANy more info you can provide.... Chris |
