phono preamp design for c3m postie valve

greetings everyone, just enquiring if anyone has a design for a phono preamp using the c3m in the first stage and say 6sl7 serving after that or while we're talking loctals why not a 7f7 in the following stages. ive heard a lot about this tube and how good it could be for phono (low noise high amplification) but can't find any designs. Also some spec sheets woud be helpful. Any additional thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
cheers fergs

Check out Frank's site for data sheets for all these tubes:

The C3M has a transconductance about half of a 6DJ8/6922 so it will generate about 3 dB more noise (hiss, not hum). But that's still better than a 12AX7. Should be useable as a first stage.
