Default Alps step attenuator

I bought 9 pcs of this Alps 250K step attenuator from e-bay. My friend opened one up and found that it is a real step attenuator.

Most certainly not. Any impressions how these sound compared to conductive plastic Alps?

Default Could you post who the seller is?

His eBay seller name, or the auction id?

thanks

That one looks like it has been heated up, strange colors that looks like it has been heated to a high temp.

There are also "ALPS attenuators" with regular 1/8 watt metal film resistor floating about. Had a few but the QC was pretty bad. Out of say 10pc 3 would be bad due to popping & other noises.
