Graham of Blackcat Electronics
Just found your notice, I'm here, who are you ?
Hi Graham, i am actually in the uk, dunno what happened with that flag.
Its a long story really, I went to see a few amplifiers in cleveleys, an old guy who really didn't know a lot.
one was a 300b with interstage transformers, driven by a 5687 I think.
Another was a 300b that was parallel feed he said, driven by what looked to be a 6sl7.
and he had a phonostage that used 5842 I think and ecc84.
They looked a bit home made so I was worried about selling on if I ever came to, as these things noone want.
But I could tell they had been designed by someone clever, who knew more than most.
He told me about you, but I had to do some ringing and investigating.
It seemed you'd disappeard off the face of the earth, last someone heard you were in france.
so I just posted here in the off chance you would see it, or someone.
I just really wanted to know more about the amps, but I decided against them in the end. he wanted £600 for the 300b ones. cheap I know.
anyway, turn on your email or send me one so we can converse if you like.
Email now switched on. Drop me a line and I'll tell you about those amps !
