search on e-bay for "function generator"-
If you look for one that isn't digital- you can probably pick up a good one for around 70 to 100 bucks including freight - maybe under that amount - B&K,HP,wavetek,Protek,leader, leader, instek, etc. - Function generators are watched pretty carefully and it's hard to "steal" one - I probably bid on eight or ten before picking up a wavetek with sweep for 68 bucks plus freight.
