No, that's not a typo, he really means EL33:

Oops... not a tube i've heard of before... same circuit would work, but with adjustment of cathode R & an OPT with a lot more pimary -- looks much more like an EL84 then an EL34.... i'm using the above as a basis for a PP amp with EL84s leveraged off a pair of Dynaco SCA35s

To continue... go looking for circuits for EL84/6BQ5, 6AQ5, 6V6, EL95, ELL80, adjust the cathode circuit and power supply as necessary....

Thank you very much for the help of dave and leadbelly.

Ask dave again. Please tell me?
In the webpage "Two valves in Push-Pull".
Va=250V
Vg2=250V
Rk=140 ohm
Vin=13V

I can change the circuit of this 6V6 below its Va , Vg2, Rk and Vin, make it become circuit of EL33 PP?

http://www2u.biglobe.ne.jp/~tossie/6V6-E.html

Make having 296V in the picture into 250V,
Rk =250 ohm is changed into 140 ohm,
Make with 18V into 13V.
Can become EL33 PP in this way?

Thanks.

pretty much... i'd put a CCS on the cathodes of the long tail pair and just use it as the phase splitter and gain stage (you might need a higher gain tube) -- this would eliminate the 1st 2 stages.

Dave, thanks your replying.
Sorry ! What is CCS?

If use this circuit below, OK?
http://www.tubecity.com.tw/images/cir3.gif

Or change the 1st 2 stages (first 6sn7) into EF86 etc . high gain tube?

But change into high gain tube, so become bad linearly?

Thanks.

That is the same circuit, different ouput tubes and details ...

EF86 straffed in triode is excellent.

something like this is what i suggest (note similarities to PP1C above)
