If they work, and meet spec, then they're good ;)
You already have them anyway... |
Spilling?
If you actually mean Brimar (British-made for American market), then they're very good - one of the best NOS manufacturers.
Hey! I've just noticed that I've replied to your question before you asked it. How cool is that? |
brimar
he Your right these are Brimar with an a. As you can see this is my first tube amp (a Radford st25) and I am completly new to the sound of tubes(wich I like) I got three quads of tubes with the amp and they are Sovtek´s JJ/tesla´s and the Brimar´s. I am amaised at how differnt thay sound at least the sovteks from the jj´s , the base on the sovteks was overpowering plus they seem to run hotter than the JJ ones. You probably all know this and shake your heads in disbelief at my :whazzat: ignorance.
Im curantly building an enclosure for Fostex´s 206e´s and will save the Brimars for those:smash: . Thanks again |
OT: EC8010, you spelled spelling wrong ;)
