The going price doesn't look like there's much profit there. Heck, the transformers are probably worth that much, and with their center taps, they could actually be adapted for use in a proper push-pull design.

Well, it was really only a half-facetious post. I believe Rankin had intended for this to be a commercial product at the time (some fifteen years ago) but it didn't appear to pan out. I can't imagine that the amp for sale has any real performance due to 60ma standing current on minimally gapped PP OPT, not to mention zero NFB for pentode output stage.
