I'm considering Mundorf M-caps (22uF, 400vdc) as output coupling caps in my OTL headphone amp. Right now I'm using paralleled Sprague 735P (10uF + 10uF + 1uF per channel) and the sonic results are excellent but they are too large to package inside my amp. I added and subtracted various Sprague caps to empirically determine the optimum value for my Sennheiser 600s and personal tastes. I want to use a single cap per channel, 20 to 22uF is size.
I’m seeking advise on where to purchase Mundorf M-caps, preferably in the USA. -S |
