Default How hot are they supposed to get?

So how hot are my tubes (6922) supposed to get? This preamp here:

Right now they are hot but I can still touch them with my bare fingers for a few seconds. I am a little paranoid because on my LM317 heater supply I used 3 x 12 ohm resistors in parallel, which works out to a little more than the 300 mA in the tube specs. Is this OK?

That sounds like the envelope is on the cool side, if anything, maybe 60C or so.
