I have 2 Melos cd-t (cd tube players).
I found in the first 2 x EC95/6ER5 tubes and 2 x 6GK5 and I found in the second 4 x 6GK5.
I know it's possible to excange EC95 and 6GK5(or I think so...), So I think it's better to put in the first CDP 4 identical tubes.
Now, do u think it's better to use 4 x EC95/6ER5 or 4 x 6GK5?

I know that second cdp(with 4 x 6gk5) seems to sound good, but I have no experience with 4 x EC95/6ER5, and also I can't understand well if second cd sounds better than first(with mixed tubes) because second cdp has a problem: it sound louder in the left channel. I tryed to change tubes position, but it seems to be the same. I think this problem is caused by other than tubes differences(moreover the quartet of 6GK5 seems to be selected).

Thanks to everyone can help me.

Bye bye
