the safety precautions around high voltages.
Only from the point of view of keeping the primary connections SHORT. Otherwise its more important to orientate it such that its EI laminations are at 90 degrees to the power tranny laminations.
The second is probably more important than the first.

That is reasuring , I am working with a small chasis (seperate amp and power supply) I am using hammond 1627se, i didnt know you could use them as boat anchors also . The chasis is 12X12 with 2- 2a3 and 2- 6sl7 .
