Percy, no, the 43% DC comment referred to another amp design where the designer asserted that not only should the AC be applied to the screen at a 43% ratio, but so should the DC. Sorry, didn't mean to confuse.

Try something like this to make ultralinear really linear and see what the screen really needs on it. Then can decide if a UL tap signal comes close or if any passive fix ups can help.
