Hello!
Fellas, i've simulated in PSUD2 2 power supplies, both using C-RC-RC filters.
Ones uses a 6X4 in full-wave mode, with component values per order in circuit: 10uF,1K,100uF,2K,220uF. The transformer is a 190-0-190V, with a load of around 5,5K. This gives me 150V at 25mA.
The other is a half wave, using a EZ81, 10uF,2K,100uF,2K,470uf, same load. The transformer is a 220V secondary, giving 160V at 42mA.
So here is the main question:
Will the 6X4 be able to power 2 of these?

All observations welcome.
Thank you all,
Francisco
PS: if anyone needs these circuits from the old svetlana website (no longer online AFAIK) i also have the phono stage preamp.[;)]

Sure, each of these stage will probably consume around 1mA.
It's best to use the highest allowed voltage, this lowers the distortion.
Cheers, Yves.
