Hi,
Please excuse my ignorance but I have to ask this basic question. Supose one have mains transformer 500-350-0-350-500. Can one take 500 leads to conect rectifier and filtering let say for the output stage and at the same time take 350 leads to conect to the second rectifier and filtering for the driver stage. Provided there is suitable current rating. If this is posible is this considered separate power supply for each stage. Thank you |

You can do this, but watch for current consumption of the preamp stages: it should be minimal or otherwise it would limit the power avabile for the outputs.
But IMHO the best solution is rectifying that 500v with a CRC, then a LC for the preamp stages. |
