Certainly one of the more interesting, mechanical-aspect, tubes out there. Certainly someone, somewhere has built with them and commented; anyone?

The GU50 gives nice 60W in class AB with 650V plate, and 300V screen, with same plate to plate resistance as the 807.

well, that was some time ago i posted.

For short, these ubes ROCK

the power they supply seems endless.

I have 150 watt rated speakers, and they buckle earlier than my pp 75watt amp!

Thank"s guys but I go for 6C33C-B in PP---Jogis website.
After a couple of months I will go for PP with GU 50.

GU-50 are my favourite tubes. They were taken from enemy in WW-II, German original was called LS-50, developed by Telefunken. They are ray pentodes (very expensive in production because of strict requirements to grid alignments), with nickel plates that may glow and survive.

Work well in my amp with 300V on 2'nd grids (I wanted to try if itey are fair clones of Telefunken LS-50 and applied 300V regulated on screens / 750V on plates. Work like beasts!)
