make yourself a good DIY antenna. Or buy one. I know that the FM-Dynalab ones are excellent. The vertical ST-2 can be located in your attic or mounded outside at the peak of your roof. It is a 54" (1/2 λ antenna) with a transformer coil (or is it a choke?).
Yagi type of aerials are still out there. Many can be had from scrap, as lots of folks throw them out, after all, who uses an antenna for TV now? I'm sure there are DIY antenna posts here, so do a search You may al;so try something like this. Cheap, and easy to make, and much better than any of the simple dipole "T" types
