What 45 SET amp should I build?

Hi all,
I am new here.
I want to build a 45 SET amp (it's my first DIY project, until now I only replaced some cap and resistor in my vintage amps).

I heard that some of the simplest and nice sounding are the Bugle and the Eric Barbour's 45 (single ended glory).

Then I read that an amp with two driver tubes would sound much better, but I don't know if it's too difficult for a newbie.

Summing up, what you experienced DIYers would advise?
Any link to schematics/projects?
Thanks in advance

Both JE Lab and Bugle Boy 45 power amps are rather easy to build. I would suggest you could put better quality components in it so that you would have a better chance in getting a good sounding amp.

Nothing is perfect in this world. Therefore, it's fun for us to experiment different things and we enjoy different results out from it.
