Lightbulb preamp gain and output transformer question

Hi, i just done my firt tube amp... A combination of 2 channel preamp driving by paralle 6v6gt power tube. But, i want more gain to produce more distortion...( never enough ). So can anybody give me some trick to do it ? here the preamp schematic i used

Also, i use a Push-pull output transformer and use it like a single ended. I just didn't hookup the CT. it's O.K. to use it like that or what can i do ?

Thanks
Dan

I'll take care of your second question: no, you can't. An SE transformer has a different geometry to prevent the core from being saturated by DC. If you capacitively couple (the so-called "parafeed"), you could use the p-p transformer, but it's not an ideal trade-off.

Short version: if you want SE, buy an SE transformer.
