Any designs for 6EJ7 out there?

I keep seeing the 6EJ7 on sale at PE, and I have searched and found it used as the front-end in designs such as the Moonlight amp and some commercial designs, so it must be decent for audio. But I can't find any schematics for line stages or full amps that make heavy use of it and therefore would be a bargain to build at that price. Any leads?

6EJ7 equiv 6F30 or European EF184 screened penny......was used as cathode coupled phase-splitter driver in amps (2 used).

Earlier life as a sharp cut off IF amp in TV's. A good reliable tube.

I've also seen it used en lieu of the EF86, as an error amp in series regulators, etc...

The previous number from the lineage, the EF183 is howver pretty much useless for audio.

An EF184 will also make an excellent CCS.

Hi there...the slope of the EF184 is about as linear as one could have it....low distortion.....run them at 10mA. examine the slope at Franks electron tube data. The Radford STA100 amp uses them as CC phasesplitter. However like everything else, improvments can be made to the original.

Finally decided to join and put some free time aside for experimenting!

I've got a bunch of EF183 (6EJ7?), and was wondering if Geek or anyone else had the triode characteristics of these? That link is dead (no surprise from so long ago)
If so that would be awesome.

EF183/6EH7 and EF184/6EJ7 are different, as EF183 is remote cutoff. Fine for a CCS, but not much good as an audio amplifier.
