Hi Geek,
This sounds kind of funny. But I never meet any tube fans or even DIY fans when I visit Delhi. So can you put me on to this Delhi located tube fan ? Funny that this request has to go to Canada to get hold of someone from my country !

ashokm(at)sify.com

Thanks,
Cheers.

Seems funny, but not uncommon. I have to go to UK sites to get info on my own country, because Canadian sites want $$$ for the same info. I have even had to go to U.S. government sites to get info on *my* government, because the navigation of Canadian government sites are inferior compared to the American government sites

Default I've visited Mr. J. P. Singh, a tube audio fan in Delhi.

First, thanks for Mr. Geek's bridging, so I can find a tube fan in Delhi, India.
Today I pay a visit to the home of Mr. J. P. Singh. He has a wonderful 6L6 PP machine with unique design. Nearly all tube machines will tower the trannies and choke on the board, but by winding trannies and choke with R core, the sizes of the trannies of choke of such PP machine are small enough to be bolted under the board. So on the board we can only see the four power tubes, a pair of 12AU7 or 12AX7 and a 6SN7. The sound is good enough with only one pity-the speakers are a little bit old. He has also designed a compact and delicate printed circuit for a 12AU7 pre-amp. A 6L6 SE is also inserted into his schedule. I suggest that when doing SE, EI core OPT will be better. He says I can see the final output in one month or two.
All in all, I have spent a happy afternoon in Mr. J. P. Singh's house.
