Are there any differences btw EL509 and EL519?
From the data I have, I can't find any!

A real EL519/PL519 have higher allowed anode dissipation, (35W compared to 30W) and higher allowed cathode peak current, (1500mA compared to 1200mA) than a EL509/PL509.
See here http://www.mif.pg.gda.pl/homepages/f...10/p/PL519.pdf and here http://www.mif.pg.gda.pl/homepages/f...10/p/PL509.pdf Regards Hans |

Hello,
There is a slight difference in max plate and screen dissipation (35 vs. 40 W, I think), but unless you're running class A, this is of little significance. In most cases, they are interchangeable. |
