I am planning on building a project I found on headwize.com. It is a headphone amp designed by Andrea Ciuffoli. Since this is the first time I will be useing the E182CC and 6SN7 Tubes I know nothing about them or more accurately their pins. I am looking for a data sheet or information on how I can identify which pin on the tube corresponds to which pin on the schematic. Is there some place online I might be able to order data sheets for these tubes from?

Datasheets for heaps of tubes (incl 6SN7) can be found at

http://www.triodeel.com/tubedata.htm

There's also a link for the free Duncan Amps tube datasheet locator program near the top, so you can find any others you want later. If you cant find it through TDSL, then you probably wont find it. Triode are a good place to buy tubes too.

or

Is this the one you're building (fig 3c)?

Better download the data, as it seems the site is shutting down at the end of the month. Pity, lots of excellent projects in the library. I'm building Kevin Gilmore's Current Domain E/S phone driver. Boards in hand, sand on the way.

Cheers

those are great links for tube data! I regularly use them myself, also, I believe you can find a program called the Tube Data Sheet Locator, or tdsl for short. You download it and can then type in a tube name and get specs, curves, pinouts, you name it on thousands of tubes right at your fingertips! It's a great tool for hobbyists and designers alike!

Also, I just looked at the triodeel site, they've changed the url to
http://www.triodeelectronics.com
and the tdsl program is at http://www.duncanamps.co.uk/cgi-bin/tdsl3.exe

it's a must for any tube enthusiast!:D

good luck with your amp!
