Hello all,

At this website (members.aol.com/sbench/1060amp.htm) is a very interesting article concerning a novel approach to achieving stereo. I don't pretend to understand it; I just find the concept intriguing.

Does anyone have anymore information about this topology? It would be an interesting wintertime project to build one of these. The schematic included in the article uses some very esoteric tubes and I am not adept enough to translate the design to more readily available types.

Thanks.

Mike L.

You caught my eye!

I seen a rather nice 813 design based upon this idea, but it wasn't for getting two channels out of one tube...

But getting more Powa!

Is there any concern over switching noise in these two Matrix topology circuits? (Giggles) :D

P.S.: The first circuit would do a treat if you could get a regulated and minaturised tube circuit, using compactrons... The Tube-Tv modern-veteran 11AR11 instantly springs to mind..
