I've asked Brian to pester Mr Liu (of TJ - Tianjian) for a 'real' mesh plate this time (as opposed to a perforated affair found on the 300B/2A3/45/274). Others have requested a style similar to the 205D they currently produce.

If enough people want it, they're sure to listen, no? Worth a shot in anycase.

well my friend is really "lucky" as he has over two dozen pairs of NOS 50's most of them Globe and the rest ST. i've been begging him for a pair Globe of course

How about suggesting a longlife 300B with 40 watts dissipation at a reasonable price with no aesthetic sillyness ? Maybe something completely new like a DHT with Ra 500 ohms , mu of 8 , dissipation 50 watts ? Now that would be a lot more interesting than these reproductions
