Probably means Lowthers, although some distance separates the S from the L.

Needtubes, seems the difference here between "mediocre" results and worldclass quality resides in the OT. Well...can't say...only had the 125 ESE'S. Now for 400 euros i agree the Lilliput ia a steal but your main supply is 125v right? and the kit comes only for 220V

See i had an eye on that kit before but was short of money. I had a good intuition then and now is proven so i'm going for one.
But for a first project a 125ESE is not a bad choice. A first project shouldn't be the last.

I was surprised to see this has been downloaded 402 times.
This amp is still holding up in operation and fidelity. Use caddock resistors for the 1meg terminators.

Same set of RCA 6as7 coke bottles working like the battery bunny.
