If you run it well over 10mA it performs acceptable. It is normally run at far to wimpy currents.

A circuit diagram would be nice!

I compared ECC82, ECC804 and 6FQ7 in a simple cathode-coupled circuit. The ECC82 was best, particularly RCA. Note that these results will not transfer to a common cathode circuit, as the distortion mechanisms are different there.

BTW radio, the best way to get an answer is to ask a polite question and then wait for a reply.

I wanted to offer a measurement performed on Vacum Tube SRPP Preamplifier With ECC82-Project!
The ratio of the second and third harmonics.
Also i want to see the measured frequency response.

The measurements refer to the preamplifier is given below in Scheme (Figure 1)!
Please someone let that little comment about this amplifier, if it does as a power amplifier.
Feedback to be about the sound and display measurements if it worked.
