please advise on operating point of a 5687.

i have mucked around with the 5687 for awhile. i`m looking for dynamics and nice mid bass. please advise..

I'm using it as a driver for 300B's; 195V @ 15mA. Sounds wonderful.

also, not sure if this helps or which 5687 you're using but .. from hearsay,.. I believe the philips 5687 are bright and worse tubes than the GE versions
