Default Can VT-185 be applied in audio circuit?

I have a couple of US millitary VT-185. Tube specification book tells me that it is identical or close to 3D6, a kind of UHF tretode. I am planning to build a preamp and hope this couple of tubes can be useful. Can they be applied in audio circuit?
