All,
I recently picked up a Fisher 500c receiver with the tuner section not working. The amp (aux) works fine and all of the tubes tested good on my tube tester. The symptom is all I get from the tuner is a loud hiss. I have the schematic and completed cursory voltage checks with my meter. Any ideas where to begin or does anyone have an electronic copy of the service manual? I have an oscilloscope on my bench but, could use a few hints on what signals I should expect to see where to get me started. Thank you -ALBQ |
