Default A Rimbaldi amp?

With all the product placements on TV it's often more entertaining to pay attention to background details than to the main action.

Last night's episode of Alias depicted a dramatic scene where Dixon used a computer to gain access to a restricted area.

Luckily my wrist camera was ready as usual and i could take some screenshots. Apparently it's all done with valves.

I love to "catch" things like that.
How many times have you seen old black and white TV's producing a color picture?
What about hearing high fidelity sound (with lots of bass) from a little pocket transistor radio?

Priceless! How about mains powered valve radios that produce sound the moment they are switched on? "Television" pictures in films that have dirt and scratches, but are bereft of scanning lines and flicker? And, of course, don't forget the simple Lissajous figures displayed by oscilloscopes on any science fiction programme.
