My earlier question on moderate voltage preamp pentodes brought up the use of grid and screen stoppers for high gm tubes. Sizing them for blocking rf interference is fairly straight forward but I have not seen much discussion of design approaches for stoppers for stability (i.e. preventing oscillation). Does anyone care to jump into those waters?
