In technical English the word "screen" may mean:
1. an electrostatic screen - for example, as included in some power transformers - this should be grounded
2. an abbreviation of 'screen grid' - for example, as included as a tap in UL output transformers - this should be connected to the screen grid (for UL) or left isolated (for pentode or triode operation).
