AD1 to 300B Tube Converter/Adapter

I need to test some AD1's Ed's, etc. and my Tesla BM215A tester is down right now. I noticed these adapters/converters for sale on the Internet. They are all Chinese made but look to be good quality. I suppose I could use the 300B settings on a Hickok (or whatever) and tweak the settings a little. Not sure what the proper bias would be?

Has anyone used these adapters? Is it safe to use them? Don't want to damage my tubes of course... I did an Internet search and don't see them mentioned - except for sale.

AD1 is a 4Volts tube, 300B is a 5Volts tube, so yes you will damage your rare,DHT,expensive and great sound AD1 tube...

Hello ,
with 250 volt at anode , 4 volt for the heater and - 45 for the grid a good tube ( AD1 ) must have 60 mA and 65 for the Ed .
These infos are from the test cards from my Neuberger 375 .
