I have been looking at a GS-35b russian triode and have the data sheets but they are in a little different form than what I need. I need the plate resistance, mu and tranconductance how can I convert mutual conductance to tranconductance?
Thanks in advance , Woody |

Hi Woody,
mutual conductance and transconductance are basically the same and are both expressed in mA/V so for the GS-35b it ranges from 25-40mA/V. I don't know mu or Rp for this tube but using the plate curves at 0V grid bias, inspection gives Rp as 4k so mu would be between 6-10. Hope this helps ciao James |

Hello
Just to throw out a few formulas: Rp = u/Gm Gm = u/Rp u = Rp x Gm Wayne
