Going back to the initial question, how to best wire this OT for connecting to a 4 Ohm loudspeaker, it seems the only way is to follow what Jazbo8 posted initially, disconnect the tap8 (lower winding) and connect tap4 (lower winding), leaving all the rest as is, correct?
