tube preamp w/ XLR?

A simple question, why it is hard for me to find a tube preamp that has balanced in/out (XLR) in it, whether it is commercial one or DIY one?

built the psu etc myself.

I don't use it balanced...just single ended...I love that preamp.

Actually it's nothing more than a long tailed pair differential amp, easy enough to build with a single dual triode.

Have you considered the Cary Audio SLP-2002 preamp?

Fully balanced, 4 separate line gain stages operating in class A triode.

Analog remote volume, cinema by-pass input, single ended triode headphone output, tape monitor, fully regulated high voltage and filament voltage.

4 seperate gain stages means 4 seperate gain stages. That is not balanced.
