Oil PP Cap

Anyone used Oil Filled Polypropylenes Cap as filter cap/reservoirs?

Does the oil filled PP cap is better than the Non-oil filled cap?

What is the function of the oil?

Compare with electroylic cap, which one is better?

I mean the cap in circular tube form, in a aluminium can.

Also the oil cap in steel rectangular can, what type of cap they are? Good or not?

It's a question of taste Tunafish. I occassionaly use Siemens B25833 PP in oil and in some situations they may sound acceptable. Their hi-freq response is a bit suspicious though. They sound fine before the first choke.

Compare to electrolytic? Which one? I'd rather use a BG anytime.
